First annual meeting of Dance Festivals Network Europe

Valencia, 8 – 11 April

Dance Festivals Network Europe (DanceFestNetwork) will host its first annual meeting at Dansa Valencia festival from 9 to 11 April 2025. The network is a coalition of European dance festivals dedicated to advancing contemporary dance’s role in building a sustainable, inclusive and innovative future. In the annual meeting 30 professionals from 21 countries will establish the basis for this long-term collaboration to start.

Prioritising themes such as mobility, sustainability, social inclusion and energy transition while working across disciplines and borders, DanceFestNet promotes the unique ability of dance to bridge cultural divides and enhance societal engagement, creating a dynamic network that supports responsible, forward-looking practices in the arts.
